It’s incredible the way you meet people and how when you least expect it, you serve purpose in that persons life. I met Laura months ago because of my angel Kyrzayda. I’ve met so many amazing friends and clients because of Kyrz BTW.

I was so happy Laura contacted me to take photos of her small intimate ceremony. I love intimate events and prefer them when I do work outside off fashion.

She looked incredible and her and hubby look like the perfect match. Sending them many blessings in their new venture as one, as soulmates, as partners for life.

How gorgeous were they…

Hi everyone !

Finally sharing a link to the small amount of photos I was able to capture of the beautiful guests at the pop up shop. As you all might know I was hired as the event coordinator and I was practically all over the place with no time to take some awesome shots of everyone. I was not hired to photograph the event but I tried my best to do it anyways. If I did not get your photo, please forgive me… it was not on purpose.

Once you open the link, photos are pretty easy to download. Just enter your email(only I have access to your emails) and hit the download button. If you have any trouble, you can email me and I can directly send you your photo.

On behalf of Kyrzayda, I want to thank everyone a thousand times for being there for her and supporting. It was truly emotional to see how so many people are impacted in such an inspiring way, by just one person. It’s great to see women stand up for one another, I LOVE IT!

As soon as we know we will have our picture taken we suddenly think about our closet and for some odd reason it’s empty in our mind. So the first thing you say is “omg I must go shopping for an outfit”. Don’t deny it, you know it happens to you all the time.
I always tell my clients to thoroughly check their closets and put three looks together before grabbing the car keys to make
A “quick” run to the mall. 90% of the time they always find something at home.
Below are some tips and examples of great looks you can try this fall season for your special photo session.

PLAID | SEASONAL | CAN BE WORN MANY WAYS
Plaid is the most common pattern for the holidays, but it is so great because they still seem to look so well blended especially in any colors. My favorite is green plaid. Best part about plaid in the holidays is that you can dress down with a pair of jeans or dress it up with a blazers for men or a gorgeous tulle skirt for the ladies.

TEXTURES & PRINTS | ONE FOCAL POINT COLOR

Pick one color first and incorporate in everyone’s look. Mix the textures but keep that color you picked within. For example, below their focal color is gray and burgundy but they mixed lace, plaid and knits. This one is the most practical and the one that stands out the most.

PICK A COLOR PALETTE | VERSATILE | PUT TOGETHER

For those not interested in twinning with the family, pick a color palette that works for everyone. Not only will you all look different, but you will look cohesive like a family should.

Here are some color palettes that work for the holiday season.

I hope you can find this helpful in picking the perfect look for your upcoming photo session with me. I cant wait to see what you all came up with !!! Happy Hunting in you closet.

I was left in complete when I looked through the raw images of this special day. I not only could believe that I captured all these great moments, but I was more in awe at how beautiful these photos turned out. It was a special feeling because I was able to capture exactly how amazing the whole wedding was IRL.

Johanna and Wilson renewed their vows after 5 happily years married, 2 kids, and a love that goes beyond explanation.

They created an intimate and elegant wedding followed by a private dinner along the river with a view of NYC.  Intimate is keyword for exactly what I love to shoot.

This day hit close to home because hubs and I will be making 5 years soon and knowing that we too have made it this far wothnlorenoostives vibes than you can imagine, assures me that true love does exist and that it isn’t rare.
Tip: don’t give up on love, it’s there. Waiting and looking just as you are too. Edit

This by far was one of the most enjoyable events I have styled. It was nice to know that every detail was appreciated. These kids sure loved everything and I’m so glad they had so much fun.

I was so excited to start editing the images from my Rhode Island trip and I get the biggest surprise when I go ahead and take a look at the memory card…. ITS F😡😡KING CORRUPTED! So I basically lost all my pictures. WOMP WOMP!
It has been a month already and I still have not been able to recover the data lost. The IT guy at my job was supposed to help me but never got around to it.. LAZY FUCK ! I even tried to do it myself and that was just a nightmare. I don’t know who told me I was a computer geek. So now I am going to have to hire a profesh to try and get it back. In the mean time I want to share what I was able to get together from some pics I took with my iPhone and Snapchat Story. If ever do come around to it. I will post them up within this post.

FIRST NIGHT WAS QUICK. We arrived to the hotel around 11pm. We ate, threw our JAMMIES on and went to bed.

SECOND DAY

This place was so creepy, but the graffiti and the pathways were ridiculously artistic and definitely SELFIE INSPIRED!

📍EAST GREENWICH MARINA, RI

DRINK NAME: DRUNK ARNIE

BRUHHHHHHH!!! (MOUTH WATERING)

📍The Trap Brew Pub & Grill, RI (a must foreal foreal)

I honestly hope I can retrieve all the images from my memory card. CROSS YOUR FINGERS ✌🏽️👌🏽🖖🏽🤘🏽☝🏼🖕🏼

This weekend I was headed to Rhode Island for some touring and my little cousins National cheerleading competition.

I really wanted to be packed well enough so I wouldn’t leave important things behind, like I always do. Being that the weather sucked all weekend and I was already feeling under the weather, I knew I had to play this out perfectly.

I had let my friend borrow my weekend bag ( 2 months ago) and still haven’t gotten it back so I was stuck with my standard suitcase. I wasn’t mad, meant I could over pack If I needed to, hehehehe.
First, I laid out all I would be taking by category.

3 Day outfits

1pair of pajamas

Extra clothes( leggings, Sweater)

Undies, bras, socks

Comfy, sexy, and cool shoes (kicks, heels, Uggs)

Slippers to walk around the hotel room

Make up

Toiletries

Hair Brush

Curling iron(for touch ups)

Umbrella (because it was raining all weekend)

Shades(because I was hopeful the weather reports were false confirmations)

Jewels -packed in plastic baggies. Ziplock bags are just as great

Packing it all together

Since I am packing lightly I went ahead and packed all shoes at the bottom.  Instead of in different areas or wrapped around clothing.

Then, I threw all the clothes on top.

Added intimates in the middle pocket compartment.

The rest went on the other side where I can zip away. ( accessories & toiletries )

All set to go !

I’ll be sharing more pictures on my weekend in Rhode Island in my next post.
Ttyl,

Gera
